Stinging Nettle Tea

by BabooKyra

Use stinging nettles, fresh or dried (I like fresh best), and a tablespoon of either mulling spices or sassafras and cinnamon. Simmer in 2 cups of water for about 15 minutes, add honey and enjoy. This drink is highly addictive, and is loved by people who hate herb teas. I have people begging me for nettles, and being a triple Leo, I enjoy the power! Those wimps are afraid to harvest them themselves!

Nettles have, in addition to every healthful mineral there is, a seratonin reabsorption inhibiting action, which makes them a mild anti-depressant. I think they are much safer than St. John's Wort.
